1 How Your Overdraft (OD) Account Works (🔄 OD Tab)
An Overdraft (OD) account is different from a credit card—it is a revolving credit facility where your sanctioned limit (e.g., ₹4,00,000) or drawn balance drops month by month (e.g., by ₹50,000/month). Open the 🔄 OD Account (Overdraft) tab:
• It shows your Sanctioned OD Limit, Currently Drawn/Owed Balance, Available Drawing Power, and Months Left to Zero.
• When you pay ₹50,000 from your Bank Account into the OD, click "Pay ₹50k This Month" (or use the form)—it deducts ₹50,000 from your Bank Cash and reduces your OD Drawn Debt by ₹50,000! If your bank also drops the sanctioned limit by ₹50,000 each month, check "Also reduce Sanctioned OD Limit".
2 Updating from Your Phone in 3 Seconds (⚡ Mobile Express)
When you're out making a payment on your phone, you don't need to scroll through the dashboard:
• Tap the big floating ⚡ Pay/Log button in the center of the bottom mobile navigation bar (or top-right on desktop).
• Tap a quick amount chip (+₹500, +₹1,000, +₹3,000, +₹50k (OD)), pick the account, and tap Save Entry.
• Pro Tip for Your Phone: Once we host this on finance.geethashopping.com, open it in Chrome/Safari on your phone and tap "Add to Home Screen"—it opens full-screen like a native mobile app!
3 Three Distinct Account Types (Bank vs OD vs Credit Card)
• 🏦 Bank / Cash / Wallet: Your actual liquid cash (counts toward Safe-to-Spend).
• 🔄 Overdraft (OD) Account: Revolving business/personal credit line with step-down tracking.
• 💳 Credit Card (Limit): Monthly billing cycle card limit (e.g., ICICI ₹1,50,000).
